The last Monday of the month is chip night as we recognize the miracles of God’s grace, and celebrate birthdays in recovery. If you want to receive a piece of heavy metal with us, sign the birthday board or see Felicia our birthday coordinator. To receive the heavy metal you must sign up one week in advance of birthday night.
The first Monday of the month is a truth teaching. In 2013 we are teaching about the Biblical principles behind the step of the month. January is step one, February is step 2, etc. We are committed to teaching the truth in the word of God. Many have been led astray by man made traditions and false teachings. Invite somebody who has been hurt by religion. the love of Jesus Christ can heal any wound.
All other Monday night meetings are topic discussion meetings.
Joy of the Lord Meeting information
Every Monday night 7:30PM - 9:00PM
All meetings are open however we do respect the annonymity of individuals in recovery.
The Abundant Life Anon – This is a closed meeting for Women at 7 to 8 on Mondays also. This is a meeting for family members and friends living with people who are alcoholics, addicts or are struggling with codependency issues. The meeting is held in the main sanctuary and is seperate from the Joy of the Lord meeting.
